Discipline: ebike / road

Three Volcanoes + Waterfront 56Km - 672m

This Auckland city loop take you to the summit of three of Auckland's volcanic cones. This provides great views of the whole city

The route circles the central Auckland suburbs in an anticlockwise direction before returning along Auckland’s stunning waterfront, where you’ll find plenty of café stop options.

City Highlights - 39km - 320m

This route takes in the highlights of Auckland's Maungawhau (Mt-Eden), Auckland domain and the museum, Tamaki drive on waterfront and returning back into the city and Viaduct harbour, under the harbour bridge and returning along Ponsonby rd. This route follows where possible cycle paths and is a great way to see many of the viewpoints of Auckland. A must do route for those new to the city. Plenty of cafe and refreshment stops along the way 

Discipline: Gravel

Anawhata adventure 83Km 1500m

This ride is not for the faint-hearted, but the scenery makes every effort worthwhile.

Take on some of the best climbs in the Waitākere Ranges before heading out to the rugged, black-sand vistas of the West Coast. The route includes approximately 26 km of gravel.

Discipline: Road

Jailbreak 80Km 995m

One for the roadies.

This undulating loop takes you west out of the city along the North Western Motorway cycle path. From there, you cross to the North Shore via the Greenhithe Bridge and continue toward Albany Village.

After riding through the village, turn left onto The Avenue, which leads onto Paremoremo Road. Follow this road past Auckland Prison, then continue on to Riverhead. From Riverhead, head back through Taupaki and rejoin the North Western cycle path to complete the loop.

On the return leg, Little Sister Café makes a great coffee stop and is a popular meeting point for many of Auckland’s cycling community.

Discipline: Road

The Doughnut loop - 73Km 930m

This loop route for road cyclists circumnavigates the inner western Waitematā Harbour, following scenic roads through the Coatesville and Albany suburbs before heading to the seaside village of Devonport. Devonport is home to the Navy base and offers plenty of great café options for a well-earned stop.

From there, regular ferries take you across the harbour to Auckland’s central city, completing the ride back to where you started.

  • Minimum age is 16 however we will require riders under the age of 18 to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. We will require the waiver of people under 18 years to be signed by the legal guardian. Identification will be required to be provided at the time of pickup

  • We are located approximately 3.9Km from the Ferry building in downtown Auckland. You can easily catch an 11W, 11T or 18 bus - takes around 15 minutes. Walking and cycling are also options. See route options in Maps
